The Royal Automotive Group offers many opportunities. Shipping and Receiving role receives and stocks all incoming parts and prepares and ships all outgoing parts. 

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, able to withstand constant motion (walking up and down steps while carrying boxes weighing up to 100lbs), as well as kneeling and crouching. This candidate will also be able to assist in delivering parts to our other Royal locations in Tucson, AZ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives all shipments and stocks items in proper locations.
  • Notes all overages and shortages, reporting discrepancies to Assistant Parts Manager.
  • Notes all damaged packages and reports them to delivery person for corrective action when packages are received.
  • Notes all quantities received on packing slips and checks boxes with quantities received on bills of lading.
  • Completes all information necessary for all franchise claims and ensures parts are properly
  • packaged for return shipments when necessary.
  • Follows all procedures for shipping and receiving as outlined in all franchise policy and procedure manuals.
  • Ensures that all parts are securely inside and out of the weather at all times.
  • Ships parts to wholesale accounts, ensuring that parts match counter tickets and destinations.
  • Ensure bus bills and other bills of lading are accurate and complete.
  • Keeps current on part number changes, puts stock up in correct bin locations and notifies
  • computer data input operator of any changes immediately.
  • Ensures that all overnight and special orders take priority over stock.
  • Pulls and sorts all parts for return, and packages and ships them properly.
  • Ensures that all warranty returns are handled properly and on time.
  • Notifies Parts Manager of any discrepancies in the warranty parts process.
  • Copies all packing slips with core charges.
  • Consults with Service Manager if warranty parts are missing and keeps Assistant Parts Manager updated on status of these parts.
  • Assists in the unloading of delivery trucks.
  • Maintains warranty area in such as way as to support an audit upon request.
  • Inventory, clean and update one bin per day.
  • Maintains professional appearance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have an impressive work-ethic
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Must be organized and have the ability to problem solve
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  •  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
